Over 400 Youth Attend Youth Innovation Fund Sessions in Thyolo and Mzuzu. Kasungu,Chiradzulo and Nkhotakota next.
Earlier today, over 400 young people turned up for the Youth Innovation Fund district information sessions in Thyolo and Mzuzu, adding to a week of engagements happening across the country.
The sessions, hosted by the National Youth Council of Malawi, created a practical space for young people to engage directly on the fund. Participants raised real questions around eligibility, proposal writing, and what makes an application stand out, while also clearing up common misconceptions that often discourage many from applying.
Beyond awareness, the sessions are helping to close the information gap that limits access for many young people. By breaking down the application process and offering clear, step-by-step guidance, more youth are now better positioned to submit strong, competitive applications.
Working together with the District Youth Office and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture – Malawi , the focus remains on ensuring that the Youth Innovation Fund is not just known, but understood and accessible to young people at community level.
